• Q: What is FFBF Internet Banking?

  A: Internet Banking lets you do your banking right from your PC at home or in the office. You now have access to all your banking information through the Internet. It's as easy as point and click. You can access our Internet Banking service through our website at www.ffsb.com.  

• Q: What can I do with FFBF Internet Banking?

  A: You can check balances, review account histories, transfer funds between accounts, view imaged checks and statements.  

• Q: What types of accounts can I access through Internet Banking?

  A: You can access all of your First Federal Bank accounts, except for credit card accounts. 

• Q: Is there a fee for using Internet Banking?

  A: Internet Banking is a FREE service for customers of First Federal Bank. 

• Q: How do I get signed up to use Internet Banking?

  A: Follow the steps below.
  1. Log on to www.ffsb.com.
  2. Click the “Internet Banking"  icon to enter the secure system.
  3. Click on the "Register Now".
  4. Fill out the registration form and submit.
  5. You will then receive enrollment notices in the mail with your access ID and password.
  6. Then simply log in with your new access ID and password. You will be prompted to change your access ID and password the first time you login.

• Q: How current is the information?

  A: The available balance for checking and savings accounts is real-time and may change throughout the day based on your activity. All other account information such as loan and certificate balances are current as of the end of day processing from the night before. 

• Q: When will my transfers take place?

  A: Generally, transfers made prior to 5:00 p.m. EST on regular business days will be credited that same day. Transfers made after 5:00 p.m. EST will be credited on the next regular business day.  

• Q: Are there limits to the number of transfers I can make?

  A: Some accounts, such as checking accounts, have no limits as to the number of transfers you can make. However, many savings accounts, by Federal Regulation, are allowed no more than six preauthorized withdrawals or transfers per month. If you're unsure whether your account has this restriction please check with a customer service representative.  

• Q: What is an "alpha-numeric, case sensitive password?"

  A: "Alpha-numeric" refers to the fact that both numbers and letters are used. "Case-sensitive" means that both upper and lower case letters are used-therefore "a" is not the same as "A." For example, if your password is "123ffsb," you must type it exactly like that. "123FFSB" will not allow you to enter the system. This method is used to provide you with the highest level of security. 

• Q: How secure is Internet Banking?

  A: An outstanding feature of this system is its multiple security levels. First Federal Bank uses a combination of the latest security technologies to protect data. It features password-controlled entry, Veri-Sign issued Digital ID for the on-line server, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol for data encryption and state-of-the-art firewall protection. Regulation E applies to On-Line Banking just like our VISA Check Card, and liability on unauthorized electronic transactions is limited to $50.00 for transactions that are reported in a timely manner.
  Please note: You will not be accessing the bank's host computer. When you request access for this service your account information for Internet Banking will be hosted on a separate server with all the appropriate firewalls and multiple layers of protection described above.  
  
  

• Q: Can I change my password?

  A: Yes. You can change your password on-line by clicking the Options button at the top of the page.  

• Q. What is my Access ID and my Password?

  A: Access ID is a minimum of 6 characters which you selected. Your Password must be between 8 and 15 characters long, include a number, upper case letter and lower case letter and is case sensitive. A password example would be Household4. This will be your password when you log on to FFBF Internet banking in the future.

• Q: If I sign up for Internet Banking will I still receive a statement in the mail?

  A: Absolutely. You will continue to receive your scheduled statements as usual. 

• Q: Do I have to own a computer to use Internet Banking?

  A: No. You can access your accounts from any computer with internet access - at work, at school, in public libraries, at friends or relatives homes, even overseas. 
  

• Q: What browser should I use to access FFBF Internet Banking?

  A: We require that you use an internet browser that supports 128-bit encryption.  Internet Explorer (6 or greater)  can be used.

• Q. Is special software required to view images of checks and statements?

  A: Yes. Adobe Acrobat 6.0 is required. 

• Q: How should I set up my monitor for best viewing results?

  A: FFBF Internet Banking is best viewed with 16-bit color (High Color) at 800 x 600 resolution.  
  Go to START at bottom left of screen.  
  Go to SETTINGS.  
  Go to CONTROL PANEL.  
  Click DISPLAY.  
  Click the SETTINGS tab. Select your screen resolution (800x600) and color settings (16-bit).
  Click OK 

• Q: Internet Banking Password Requirements

  Must be 8 -15 characters in length.
  Must have one upper case character.
  Must have one lower case character.
  Must have one numeric character.

• Q: What version of Internet Explorer is recommended for www.ffsb.com?

  A: To view www.ffsb.com and all its functionality please use Internet Explorer 7.
